Dusty Tuuks AAA
Dusty Tuuks Hockey is a competitive off season AAA team designed by former hockey players who have vast experience and a balanced perspective on player development. We focus on improving skills, teaching the details of the game and building relationships. Our passion and experience is ready to be passed on to your aspiring player. Note: we are supporters of multi sport athletes.
Ages
For next spring's 2027 season we will have teams competing in the 2012 thru 2020 birth years.The "Lil Tuuks" program will consist of 2019-2020 mites.
When
AAA season will run March thru May and August. We typically have a break in June and July,
Where
Most of the practice ice will be at centrally located Parade Ice Garden in Mpls. Our older team also practice at Breck Arena in Golden Valley.
Practices
Teams typically skate 2-3 times a week. Our focus is individual skill development. There is additional training at the Dusty Tuuks Training Warehouse.
Games
Each team will play 3, 4 or 5 tourneys as well as scrimmage games. The younger teams usually play 3 tourneys and some teams may play in 5 tourneys.
Jerseys
Teams will be provided jerseys, socks, shells and team apparel including sweatshirts, shorts etc.
TRYOUTS
Tryouts are held the last week of August. However, if you would like your player to be evaluated at another time, send an email to support@jdhockey.com. Please provide your player's name, DOB, position and current teams (association/AAA).
