Joe Dziedzic Hockey

This 3 on 3 program is a competitive program for young players who are looking for an extra night of hockey during the season. This unique opportunity is designed to let kids play shinny hockey where they can develop their creative instincts while improving their game skills. There are some guidelines and coaching instruction to help make sure that each session is run as efficient as possible. This is not a "league." District 6 has approved this program. We do not have coaches, refs, scoreboards or teams. This is simply an extra night of hockey meant to help those players who want to improve their skills and learn from a former NHL player.

Playing 3 on 3 in this small enviroment is ideal for developing the physical skills like quicker hands and skating agility, as well as the mental skills like anticipation or reading and reacting.  Playing with lots of time and space is one thing, but playing in traffic is a whole different game. The players who play in this program often comment that this is the most fun they have playing hockey all year.  Space is very imited.
