JD HOCKEY CAMPS

JD HOCKEY CAMPS

Do you believe in you? All great players have one thing in common on the ice- confidence. JDHockey Camps will challenge each player to work hard at developing their skills that, in return, will elevate their confidence on the ice. From college or pro players to squirts and everyone in between, every player should have one goal in mind during the off season: to get better.

Skating in our camps will raise your skill level - period. We give you the personal attention that is needed to get results. We work on the basic fundamentals of the game: skating, passing, shooting and stick handling. These skills are the foundation to becoming the best player that you can be. It takes commitment, hard work, perserverence and discipline to develop into a great player. There are no short cuts. What you put in is what you will get out.

Our camps combine skill development training with competitve small area games to push each player outside their comfort zone.  We have the passion, work ethic and experience to help you get the results that you are looking for. Camp space is limited to ensure quality instruction. Sign up today. Looking forward to working with you on the ice.

PRE-TRYOUT WEEKEND BATTLE CAMP

Hockey is a physical game and knowing how to protect yourself allows you to avoid injury and enjoy playing with confidence. Spend the weekend learning how to compete and protect yourself along the boards or in front of the net. Learn how to shield and protect the puck longer so you can make more plays on the ice.  Tryouts are just around the corner.... are you ready to battle?

We will spend time learning how to:

- deliver and absorb/spin off checks

- legal vs illegal checks

- angling and forcing the puck carrier to go where you want

- get comfortable with body contact

- exploding shoulder hits

- how to fight thru checks

- how to create space in the battle zones

We will also incorporate small area games of 1 on 1s, 2 on 1s, 2 on 2s and 3 on 3s.
